A unique blended learning program combining small-group online teaching with face-to-face workbook support and targeted feedback at Homework Club. LH247 Grade 3 & 4 Online Support Class Building Strong Foundations in English and Maths Our LH247 Grade 3 & 4 Online Class is designed for students who would benefit from extra support and practice in English and Mathematics. Conducted in a small-group online setting, this 1-hour Sunday session focuses on strengthening core skills, building confidence, and addressing learning gaps before they become larger challenges. Students will participate in explicit teaching, guided practice, and targeted revision of key concepts aligned with the Australian Curriculum. Topics may include reading comprehension, vocabulary development, spelling, grammar, mathematical operations, problem-solving, and foundational algebraic thinking. What Makes This Program Different? This online class is designed as an add-on to our Homework Club (HWC) program, providing students with additional learning opportunities beyond their regular sessions. Following each online lesson, students will receive LH247 workbooks and practice activities, which can be completed and reviewed during their Homework Club sessions at West End State School on either Monday or Tuesday. This allows students to benefit from: Additional weekly instruction and revision Structured workbook practice Face-to-face feedback from our tutors Targeted support for areas requiring improvement Reinforcement of concepts taught during the online lesson The combination of online teaching, workbook practice, and in-person feedback creates a powerful learning cycle that helps students consolidate their understanding and develop greater confidence in the classroom. Suitable for: Grade 3 and Grade 4 students seeking additional support, revision, or extension in English and Maths. Format: Small Group Online Session Duration: 1 Hour Every Sunday Follow-Up Support: Workbook completion and tutor feedback during HWC sessions on Monday or Tuesday at West End State School.
