Service Description

“Learn on Sunday. Apply the skills at Homework Club.” Build Strong Writers and Confident Readers in Grade 3 & 4. A structured Hybrid English Program combining weekly online lessons with guided practice at Homework Club. Students learn key English skills on Sunday morning, then apply them during Homework Club at West End State School with the support of their group tutors. ✔ Build stronger grammar and sentence writing skills ✔ Improve reading comprehension and vocabulary ✔ Practise writing with structured weekly workbooks ✔ Reinforce learning with teacher support during Homework Club ✔ Access lesson notes and resources anytime through Google Classroom How the Hybrid Program Works Step 1 – Learn the Concept Sunday Online English Lesson 9:30 – 10:30 AM Students learn important English skills including grammar, spelling, sentence construction and reading comprehension. Step 2 – Apply the Skills Homework Club Session Monday or Tuesday West End State School Students complete their school homework and practise the skills from the Sunday lesson working with their group tutors. Structured Weekly Workbooks Students receive structured workbooks that follow each Sunday lesson, giving them guided practice to complete during the week. These workbook activities are also used during Homework Club so students can apply what they have learned with teacher support. Learn Anytime with Google Classroom All students enrolled in the program will have access to Google Classroom, where they will find: • lesson notes from each session • worksheets and workbook instructions • additional practice activities This allows students to review lessons and continue learning even if they miss a class. Term 2 Learning Focus During Term 2, students will learn how to build stronger sentences by understanding: • Nouns • Noun Groups • Verbs • Adjectives • Adverbs These grammar foundations help students develop clearer writing and more confident communication.
